Emptying Out The Benches

Media

I think that one of my favorite things today is going to see which F-grade pundits get toted out to fill the next 18 hours of coverage on the news networks.

MSNBC’s staying with four hours of former GOP Representative Joe Scarborough, who sits with moderate conservative radio host Mike Barnicle and ultra-conservative Pat Buchanan talking the entire time about how the media is too much in Obama’s tank.  One could hope that the utter irony of people on national cable spending the entire time whining about the stuff on national cable hits them about 9PM tonight, however I’ve been hoping that the utter irony of me not having a modeling contract would hit Madison Avenue since I was 16.  I’m not getting any younger here, folks.

I think I’ll be watching the infomercial for Colon Blow on Channel 47, instead of listening to the 24/7 cablenoise bloviators.  Plan to check in with C-Span around 11pm

Yeah, live TV is off and the Tivo is on in our house until 6pm and the first set of returns. I just couldn’t take it anymore. But I agree, watching Joe “4 hours a day on MSNBC” Scarborough complain about the media coverage is priceless. Can’t wait to see him rationalize tomorrow about how the facts and history were in the tank for Obama.
