Bad Photoshop Says Obama/Bayh

No offense, but the Obama campaign is not going to launch their ticket with a bumper-sticker that looks like warmed-over ass*.

*Unless, of course, they do.

UPDATE: NBC says that Bayh and Kaine are out, and that the text message won’t go out until tomorrow morning. CNN will still be camped out in front of every elected Democratic Congressperson’s house until one of them either says they’re the candidate or some shit blows up.

I have a pretty strict anti-drudge stance, but curiosity got the best of me. Apparently their “latest” is that Kaine and Bayh are out. Which would indicate Biden? The next link down says that The Famous Text will go out tomorrow morning.

This whole Friday evening reveal concept is ridiculous.

And I’m not clicking any more veep-related links for fear of being rickrolled again.

InTrade has shot up to 85% for Biden.

That’s far from a solid piece of evidence, but a lot of people willing to put money on it suddenly know something we all don’t.

And I’ll also say that it’s obvious the bumper sticker thing is a hoax, since it’s pretty obvious that whatever swag they issue will go hand in hand with basic graphic “identity” of the campaign. Which I’m sure was designed ages ago, and the eventual Obama/Whoever ‘08 stuff was factored in way back then. I mean, it’s not like the Obama campaign just found out they were going to be needing a running mate, and that the tradition is to make stickers, t-shirts, buttons, etc. with both names on them.

Which is cool for me. Hes the only VP candidate my grandpa knows personally (hes a teacher in Wilmington, DE). Delaware is a small state so its not like that’s a big deal, but still its cool.

I’m not gonna look, but if I don’t hear about Malkin (Pam Atlas would be okay too) coming unglued over something related to that picture, I’m going to be very disappointed…

Besides, the kerning is fine. Duh.

*srsly, anyone can order up a bumper sticker that says anything they want—I can go from idea to design to printing it out on my Epson 1280 within an hour, half if it’s supposed to be especially low-fi.

The Associated Press has now confirmed that Joe Biden will be Barack Obama’s running mate.

It’s official. The text message campaign didn’t work out I guess. Don’t know how they fucked it up, but they did.
