Florida U.S. Congressional candidate Larry ‘homo-sex w/Obama’ Sinclair writes me

We have a celebrity missive in the mailbag! Sunshine State U.S. Congressional candidate LarryI had homosex and blow with ObamaSinclair saw my recent post about his new career move—from serving time for multiple offenses to serving his country. His email is full of misspellings, bad grammar and misguided charges; I left that intact. I had to help out the pathetic formatting because it was nearly unreadable.

subject Request you correct your untrue statements

Dear Pam:

I found the below post from a referral link to my website. While I do not know you, I believe I can honestly say I know your type. The below statements are false in large part, and if you stand by your tag-line of reality-based you will be big enough to correct your outright lies.

Jailbird Larry ‘homo-sex w/Obama’ Sinclair runs for Congress From Pam’s House Blend - Front Page 12/1/2009 6:50 PM - 324 views

From the President’s somber speech on Afghanistan to…this. Only in America.

Larry Sinclair, the man who claimed that he “took drugs [and] had homo sex with Obama” is now running for Congress in Florida’s 24th district. His slogan: “I have served my time, now it’s time I serve my Country.”

Sinclair, author of Barack Obama & Larry Sinclair: Cocaine, Sex, Lies & Murder? and convicted felon, was reportedly offered $10,000 to verify his claims of illicit sex and drug use with then candidate Obama via a polygraph test, “which he promptly failed.” This statement is a lie and has been repeated so much online that no one bothers to actually look at the fact that Edward Gelb intentionally left out the fact that computer scoring had me passing with flying colors!!!

...Sinclair has been convicted of “larceny, theft, check forging and credit card fraud”

Again you have your facts screwed up, but hey, you aren’t really interested in being factual are you? My convictions are between 1980 to 1986 for Theft (Larceny & Theft are the same thing) Uttering a forged instrument (check) and Unauthorized Use of A Financial Transaction Device, so please quote my past correctly if you are going to use it to try and call me names. and “has served over 16 years in prison in Florida and Colorada” I have not served 16 years in prison with Colorado, Arizona & Florida combined, so why would you intentionally make such a blatantly false claim?? where he was disciplined 97 times for infractions including assault, threats, drug possession, intimidation, and verbal abuse.

I love the new breed of fags and dykes who thinks the world owes them everything. If you wish to come after me, you would be better off getting your facts correct before you post this type of trash which makes you look really less that being in touch with reality.

I thank you in advance to your published correction and admission you were less than honest with your readers intentionally.

Thank you and Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Larry Sinclair (you know the jailbird)

PS Just so you know I served 10 yrs in Colorado and was discharged from Parole supervision on May 5, 2000 Cinco de Mayo (some five years early!) As for Florida, I serve a total of 8 months!

Of course candidate Larry also failed to notice that I merely excerpted article by Dan Carter, “Larry Sinclair Runs For Congress Despite Criminal Record, Allegations Of Sex With Obama,” so if he has any factual issues with the documentation of his criminal past, Larry needs to contact Mr. Carter. If you get Mr. Carter to roll it back, I’ll be happy to issue a correction. BTW, it’s really sad—no one has to come after you, Larry - your bizarre and incredible story sells itself as tabloid fodder.

When Sinclair held a three-ring circus news conference at the National Press Club back in June, I noted:

Sinclair, who has a 27-year criminal record of petty crimes and fraud arrests, should win an award for the dumbest mo’fo’ ever—he has an outstanding warrant in Colorado on theft and forgery charges, so today’s high-profile appearance in DC resulted in two U.S. marshals cuffing him and hauling him away right on the spot.

This guy has only served 10 years, eight months in prison, you greedy homosocialist. Fix your no-doubt intentional error before you lose respect in the eyes of a thieving con artist who has a rap sheet as long as your arm.

This paragon of civic virtue says he had sex with the President of the United States and, by golly, you should believe him! And when he mistakenly accuses you of misleading the public because you quoted a journalist who says he spent 16 years in prison, instead of the 10 years and eight months he actually spent in prison, then you should apologize right fucking now!

In fact, I’d say you owe this poor guy more than an apology: you should give him ad space on your website as compensation for the damage you did to his sterling reputation for quoting that he spent 16 years in prison for theft, forgery, and fraud as opposed to merely 10 years and eight months in three different states - because nobody deserves the benefit of the doubt more than Larry Sinclair.

He could try challenging you on the facts when it comes to being the “dumbest mo-‘fo’ ever”. I’d love to see the list of examples of people dumber than him (but they’d pretty much be taken from the Darwin Awards list).

Comment #2: Samantha Vimes  on  12/06  at  02:30 AM

I’m sure he’ll be invited to the tea party convention soon enough.  Him and the “No pubic option” sign people will get along very well.

Hilarious. It thinks it’s literate.

Comment #4: CHV  on  12/06  at  07:17 AM

So on top of being a crook and a serial fabricator, he’s also a whiiiiiner.

He probably knows he’s got no shot at winning, so he’s casting around for someone to blame for his eventual loss. “I woulda won, but that mean blog lady was mean to me!” Then he’ll go hold up a liquor store.

Comment #5: Scott  on  12/06  at  10:27 AM

Nah, I think that even if you’re quoting another account, you should correct the record if he can show that the report was mistaken. Newspapers and broadcasters can hide behind “we were just quoting our sources”, but bloggers should aspire to an factual standard. (And what I would figure is that he was sentenced to the longer term, actually spent the shorter one behind bars post conviction.)

Because someone who spent just short of 11 years in prison on multiple convictions is so much more credible than someone who pent 16. Can he even vote for himself in Florida?

Comment #6: paul  on  12/06  at  12:07 PM

So…

he’s a crook, but a nice one who gets time off for good behavior.  You should note that *while he’s a crook* he’s not quite the crook your source claimed he was.

Perhaps he was just sentenced to 16 years?  BUT HE DIDN’T HAVE TO SERVE THEM B/C HE’S SUCH A NICE GUY!

Trustworthy, this crook is.

Seriously, he just whined that you were wrong about the time he served, while admitting that he served time for being a crook?  As if that actually makes a difference?

To crazy homophobic racists it must.  Thank you, Mr. Sinclair, for this fascinating look into the Teabagger mindset.  Hatred really is the only important family value.

and doesn’t having “homo-sex” with obama make him one of those “fags and dykes” that he’s whining about?

Oh, so he actually served less than 11 years, rather than 16.  Well, this completely changes my opinion of him, and now he’s just so* credible.  He must be telling the truth about his homo-sex.

Well, he does claim to be close friends with a man who is one of the driving forces behind a bill legalizing genocide. There’s no accounting for his taste.

Would you like a paper bag to hyperventilate in?

I know Obama sucked up to Rick Warren, but as I generally ignore that “Purpose Driven” moron, I didn’t know Warren was the friend of of a guy who promotes human rights abuses in Uganda. That’s why I asked.

I would like to know what happened to this mans Brain Tumor. The Globe Magazine had an article in the December 8, 2008 issue stating that Larry had a Brain tumor, with less than a year to live. So, If he were telling the truth, He would be dead. Also, I think that he was sentenced to 16 yrs, and he only served 11 of those years. Whatever the case the man is a lowlife welfare sponge nutcase.

Folks over at “The Regulator” have been following Larry Sinclair since he arrived on the political scene two years ago.  One of “regulars,” Where’s the Proof Larry” posted the following comment today (12/7/09)

http://theregulator.net/?p=6541#comment-52470

Part 1

Where’s the proof, Larry? says:

Meesheemey says: December 6, 2009 at 10:02 am
quotes [Sinclair’s] post/email:
“As for Florida, I serve a total of 8 months!”

Here’s some facts as we understand them:

Case # 85-5875CF
Florida Department of Corrections Prisoner No. 098146.
Sentenced June 6th, 1985 to 1 year + 1 day.
62 days served as of June 6th, 1985 sentencing.

From Chapter 2, page 24 of Larry’s book:
“I was arrested in a motel by the Miami-Dade police and taken to Broward County, FT Lauderdale, Florida jail. Once again, I was guilty so I pled guilty and was sentenced to one year and a day in the Florida Department of Corrections. I served and discharged my entire sentence at the Brevard Correctional Institution in Coca, Florida”

Maybe it’s just me but that doesn’t sound like “8 months” to me.

However, not only that but he’s forgetting one:
see the link:

http://www.politico.com/static/PPM103_dn2.html

Case No. F-86-017266, State Case No: 13-1986-CF-017266-0001-XX
Florida Department of Corrections Prisoner No. 415180.
Uttering forged instrument (check) and grand theft second degree ($20,000 - $100,000). Both are apparently at least level 3 felonies according to my research notes. He was sentenced between Aug 13-Sep 8/86 to one year probation and 60 days already served after arrest), $7400 restitution. Avila-Adams was listed as an absconder and active probationer as of early 2008. He was in violation of his FL parole when he got nailed in Colorado in Nov ‘86.

By his own account and the above, [he’s] served 14 months in Florida - if he’s truly intersted in keeping his facts straight - which a career fraud felon like him obviously isn’t. Even if he only served 8 months for the first case, contrary to the wording in his own book, he also served a couple of more for the other felony case a year later in Florida.

So once again, he trying to call someone on the facts when his own facts that he presents to refute them are more obviously flawed.

Meesheemey says: December 6, 2009 at 10:02 am
quotes [Sinclairy’s] post/email:

“where he was disciplined 97 times for infractions including assault, threats, drug possession, intimidation, and verbal abuse.”

“97″ appears to have come from the Politico article on Sinclair’s criminal past:
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0608/11164.html

This link has 42 prison violations by him in Arizona (under one of his many names - in this case Silvas):
http://www.azcorrections.gov/inmate_datasearch/results.aspx?InmateNumber=041868&LastName=SILVAS&FNMI=L&SearchType=Search
but it appears to be missing history from 1980-1981 so there may well be more - the history doesn’t start until Jan ‘82.

He also had about 90 prison discipline violations in Colorado
http://www.politico.com/static/PPM103_dn9to18.htm

And we haven’t bothered to look up his Florida prison record which by all indications and testimony from those who guarded him in prison in the other states would be likely to have followed the above patterns.

cont’d below

Comment #25: YankeeClipper  on  12/07  at  12:49 PM

Part 2

So Sinclair is sort of “correct” in that 97 prison discipline violations mentioned by the Politico article for prison assaults, threats, drugs, etc isn’t precise. It’s in fact [many] more. So far we only know of 132 of them officially. I’d look more but I felt that when one hits 132 prison violations in a couple of stretches, what’s the point? Would more proven prison violations really make that much of a difference in how his character should be assessed?

Meesheemey says: December 6, 2009 at 10:02 am
quotes [Sinclair’s] post/email:
“I have not served 16 years in prison with Colorado, Arizona & Florida combined, so why would you intentionally make such a blatantly false claim??”

Because the claim isn’t blatantly false.

Each state that’s convicted him of a felony (FL, AZ & CO) has noted [he] has used several aliases (14 in Colorado). That’s part of the reason it’s likely we don’t have them all.

Mitch also was onto some leads that indicated he had troubles in Mexico when he a running drugs and smuggling aliens. I’m not sure what he got conclusively on that. And there have been a number of civil suits over the years granting judgment against Sinclair for money he didn’t pay. But again, we don’t have the whole story and Sinclair has proven to be too chronic of a liar to rely heavily on anything that he’s told us.

Here’s my tally in the prison time he’s served that we know about.
Arizona, 1980-1984 - about 44 months due to parole violation for handgun possession.

Broward County, FL, 1985, about 8-12 months

Miami Dade, FL, 1986, 2 months

Colorado, 1986-1996, 132 months

Colorado, 1999, parole violation for AWOL, .25 month (1 week)

Colorado, 2000, arrest for current outstanding warrent, .5 month (2 weeks)

North Carolina, 2007, arrest for disorderly conduct, ? month

Delaware, 2008, arrest for passing forged money orders, .25 month (1 week)

That tallies between 187-191 months in prison which is between 15.58-15.91 years. In other words, I think Sinclair is trying to bicker about a fraction of a year while accusing some of their ability to get their facts straight. I think the above facts with those links are pretty darn close to the irrefutable truth that the original poster is very close to.

As we’ve said before, between all the institutions Sinclair was in as a juvenile (see his book), he’s spent the majority of his life violating the law, running from the law or serving time/parole for breaking the law. He is without question in my opinion, an unrepentant, unreformed career felon who has absolute no place in a position of public trust like congress.

For some reason, “I’ve got a brain tumor” is a popular lie for attention-seeking individuals to tell. I personally know of at least two people who’ve done this. One went to far as to shave his head.
