McCain Supporters For McCain!

Why are “pro-Clinton” groups voting for McCain?

Because Barack Obama went to a Muslim school.

If you’re going to send out ratfuckers, send out ratfuckers that don’t look like complete lunatics, please.

Wait—you’re arguing that people are too smart to fall for a political attack?

It’s like watching an even more insane version of Ann Coulter.

The woman who identifies herself as Christi Adkins is a frequent guest on Fox News shows. Her husband owns a couple of tinhorn radio stations in West Virginia—stations that run, you guessed it—Hannity and James Dobson.

He’s a REGISTERED Muslim, even if he’s a Christian now.

What the fuck does that even mean? I wasn’t aware one has to “register” ones religion in this country.

Comment #4: Ben D.  on  08/26  at  06:26 PM

What’s funny, well, it’s not funny but what’s interesting is that here is tweety getting down on his well padded knees and giving the this rove operation head in front of the entire nation.  That’s why I have no sympathy, empathy or any of the other amthy things for matthews or most anyone else in the MSM.  They deserve nothing less than being kicked out of this country which has allowed them to ply their dishonest con game for so long.  Am I supposed to believe that matthews just happened across these three?  Of course not.  And he knows nothing about them their background, whether or not they’re real?  Please.

I’m not commenting on the effectiveness of such crap, though I would argue that these loonies won’t change anyone’s mind.  If you can believe the stupid bile they’re coughing up, you were dumb to being and probably want daddy mcbbq to watch over you.  This is just this campaign’s purple heart band aids and every bit as insulting.

I am saying that at some point we, as citizens, must hold these people in the media accountable and that includes the corporations behind them.  They have and continue to hurt this nation for their own profit.  We should not allow that to occur.

@ Ben—In Indonesia, one has to list a religion on public school entry paperwork.  Obama was listed as “Muslim”, probably because his stepfather was Muslim and he was living in a family/household that would have been considered Muslim in Indonesia (either according to policy or according to how people socially defined themselves), or possibly because the paperwork was filled out incorrectly.

This is obviously completely irrelevant to anything—it’s less impressive than if Barack had his eye color listed as hazel on his driver’s license, when everyone KNOWS his eyes are really brown.  Who the fuck cares?

Can anyone ever really know the color of a black man’s eyes?

Comment #7: professordarkheart  on  08/26  at  06:55 PM

Well, I don’t have sympathy or empathy for Chris Matthews, but I do have antipathy for him.

Comment #8: Dr. Psycho, Registered Psychopath  on  08/26  at  06:58 PM

“Who the fuck cares?”  Apparently the 3 million people in this group that say they are voting for McCain instead of Obama care.

Comment #9: Dr T  on  08/26  at  06:59 PM

If this group has 3 million members, John McCain was not only not a POW, he actually made up the entire fucking country of Vietnam.

Exactly - let’s see the membership rolls. Right after we look at that “report” written by a “former congressional investigator.”

Idiots.

Comment #11: spencer  on  08/26  at  07:19 PM

who wants to place bets on the “former congressional investigator” as being David Bossie?

Oh, and re “registered Muslim”, “attended a Muslim school”, etc—god forbid Bobby Jindal ever run for president or VP…

Because he wasn’t a pretend Hindu, he was a real live Hindu.  Of course he “converted”, but, being brown and from one of those Pakistani type countries, how can we know for sure that he didn’t convert to Christianity as a coverup for his Radical Hindufascicommunofundamentatarianism?  Hm?  Can the Jindal campaign offer any substantive PROOF that he did not convert to Catholicism in the wake of the assassination of Indira Gandhi?

Comment #13: The Opoponax  on  08/26  at  08:00 PM

The Opoponax-

<wingnut thinking>Hindus are OK, becauase they hate Muslims, too. As long as they convert to Christianity when they come over here and don’t marry our daughters, they’re OK.</wingnut thinking>

This “once a Muslim, always a Muslim” horseshit is starting to resemble anti-semitism. Remember how back in 19th and early 20th Century European politics right wingers would accuse left-leaning politicians of being a “Jew” even if all this meant was one Jewish grandparent?

Racist motherfuckers, every single one of them.

That’s my carefully reasoned analysis.

Comment #15: Captain Bathrobe  on  08/27  at  03:05 AM

Jesus Christ, that is the most depressing thing I’ve seen all week.

I’m with Captain Bathrobe.

Given a few of the “You younger feminists are so ungrateful and need to suffer now” posts I’ve seen here, if they are genuine, I think age might be the issue for some people more than race.
1. Obama looks kind of younger than he probably is, and he has a strong following among young voters. There is, therefore a sort of identity politics of youth involved
2. “get off my lawn” jokes about McCain have genuinely offended some people for ageism against the elderly.
3. Obama is criticized for “lack of experience” and portrayed in cartoons as a kid.

All these factors may be causing some older voters to feel that they don’t really trust him.

Not in the case of the interviewed crazy the post was about, but besides racism and ratfuckers, I think there’s a “you kids get off my politics” democratic faction as well. Small, but sincere.
