I don’t know why Charlotte (Chuck) insists on glaring into the camera in every picture, though. It’s a little disconcerting. She’s barely six months old and she already has a thousand-yard stare.
Speaking of kitties and the holidays, Amy and I wish everyone a good holiday season, along with our three cats, Eliot, Wally and Romana (that’s two poets and a Time Lord, for those of you keeping score), and the head of Optimus Prime on the Baby Jesus. Amy is the one with the mad Photoshop skills.

Thanks for this. I’d forgotten that one of my cats, Tiger (a feisty Maine Coon) kept paper towels out of the kitchen for at least five years. If I put them on a roll he’d get this pissed look on his face, get his ears back and then bat the whole role off the pin onto the floor.
Sometimes I’d wake up to the sound of it, before I gave up on them. A soft wooden rattle, then getting up for coffee with 50 towels mounded on the floor.
He’s 12 now, still a great cat. Merry Christmas!

Maybe I should ban Monkey as a Christmas present to myself, because he can’t even leave a Christmas greeting without attempting to be patronizing, despite his low intelligence.

Personally, I’m surprised Monkey wasn’t banned months ago. It’s not like he was ever not a patronizing asstrain.

What’s funny is that when I went in to delete his profile and ban his IP address, I discovered by his email that he’s this asshole who has been running around spewing violently angry, hateful stuff about me on other blogs for years now. I will never understand some people’s obsession. It’s sad, really.
Yes, instead of focusing on you, he should be working out his problems in a healthy way, but he’s too far gone in blaming everybody except himself for where he is in his life at the moment….......
