Next entry: McCain and Obama: worse and better than you thought Previous entry: That one

Minneapolis radio host Obama’s a ‘little bitch’

The IQ of these conservative cretins keeps dropping by the day. That’s all.

On the October 6 broadcast of his Minneapolis radio show, Chris Baker said that Sen. Barack Obama has “got his panties in a wad” because of Gov. Sarah Palin’s recent assertion that Obama was “palling around” with former Weather Underground member William Ayers. Baker said: ”[T]his little bitch needs to stand up for himself. Sorry, I can’t stand this. You want to be the president of the United States, and you won’t even stand up to a smoking-hot chick from Alaska? How is he gonna stand up to the world’s terrorists?” Baker continued: “I mean, this—this guy—this guy is—he’s a—he’s a wimp is what he is.”

Baker went on to read from an Associated Press analysis of Palin’s comments, saying: “The Associated Press says, quote, ‘There’s another subtext for creating the false image of a black presidential nominee palling around with terrorists while assuming a predominantly white audience that he doesn’t see their America’ because, according to the AP, ‘many terrorists are dark-skinned Muslims.’ ” Baker added: “So, obviously, by her mentioning he hangs with terrorists, it’s obviously racist. I mean that—this is getting crazy. This wuss-bag needs to stand up for himself and answer the questions about his relationship with Bill Ayers and other terrorists and terrorist sympathizers.”

If anyone is “a little bitch” it would be the person who is supposed to be at the head of the GOP ticket.  Why couldn’t McCain face Obama and say words such as “terrorist” and “traitor” or whatever when he was right in front of the supposed terrorist and traitor?  If he really thinks Obama is a terrorist, then only “a little bitch” would not say so in front of a huge television audience.  His failure to do so only emphasizes the fact that his side’s dangerously-deranged rhetoric is full of crap.

By letting Palin (the self-professed Pit Bull with Lipstick, which may or may not make her a medium-sized bitch) say those words, McCain had to either own up to those phrases or denounce them.  When your attack dog bites someone, you have to take responsibility.  McCain didn’t, hasn’t, and won’t.

I admire Obama all the more for not overreacting to all this crap.  I’m used to Democrats underreacting.  I was itching for Obama to go on attack.  But I am glad to see that this calm, thinking, strategic thinker will be in charge and not McCain’s Mr. Clean figurehead leading a bunch of assholes, cronies, sycophants, and powermongers.  When the world is heading into a shitstorm, you want the guy who was smart enough to pack goggles rather than the guy who angrily kicks up more crap.

So wait, let me get this straight. As a liberal, I’m supposed to respect Sarah Palin’s oodles of executive experience and her ability to deter Putin when he rears his nasty Russian head over Alaskan airspace/the narrow maritime border, but a conservative radio host can diminish her to a “smoking hot chick from Alaska” that Obama can’t stand up to because he’s a little bitch? Respect my token hottie but I’ll make veiled racist claims about your candidate, who is substantially smarter?

Sigh.

Comment #2: paj  on  10/08  at  09:27 AM

And he still had to throw in a comment about Palin’s looks….in fact he reduces her to her looks.  Granted, I’m against everything this woman stands for, but it’s pretty hilarious every time the McCain campaign cries sexism from liberals and the media when it’s conservatives who are panting over her like that wolf in the old cartoons.

Comment #3: Blitzgal  on  10/08  at  09:28 AM

Will Palin soon mention that McCain spent last night palling around with a terrorist?

Comment #4: jon  on  10/08  at  09:43 AM

The whole wingnut “She’s a MILF!” thing is really vile.

It was more than gross enough when Ann Coulter was the object of their obsessions.  The unmarried Coulter has never hidden her lustful side well, so it’s less of an issue.

But Palin, married, many children, dressed fairly conservatively, has that teacher/librarian/mom vibe going on that adds whole new dimensions to the sickness.

Somebody is going to make a hell of a lot of money writing books examining the psychological deficits laying at heart of the Reichwing political movement.  It’s a goldmine.

And I gotta figure out a way to get my cut.  After all, if they’re putting us all through hell, we should get something back…

Bob Altemeyer already wrote a few; I don’t know if he made any money, though.

See also John Dean’s “Conservatives without Conscience.”

Comment #7: Chet  on  10/08  at  10:08 AM

Actually, shit like this makes me happy. I think it means that the ‘conservative movement’ is getting more and more desperate.

The danger, of course, is that if the conservative movement gets really desperate, they will resort to violence on a large scale. So we should prepare for that too.

You want to be the president of the United States, and you won’t even stand up to a smoking-hot chick from Alaska?

There’s a fair-to-middling chance that Governor Smoking-Hot has never been introduced to a black person in her life,  and I wish I was kidding.

Comment #10: Molly, NYC  on  10/08  at  10:35 AM

I agree with jon. Having your employees accuse Sen. Obama of close ties with terrorists and then failing to confront him and call him out on the alleged terrorist cavorting doesn’t make me question Sen. Obama’s character. It makes me question Sen. McCain’s.

Amazing.  This idiot manages to be both racist and sexist in a single sentence.

Even disregarding all the slurs and smears, WTF is this guy talking about?  He’s saying both that Obama complained about Palin’s comments, which I don’t think happened, and that he didn’t stand up for himself, which, if he complained, he did.

Comment #13: FlipYrWhig  on  10/08  at  11:25 AM

He’s right; Obama would be more qualified to lead the country if a) his penis were larger and b) he were willing to swing it around the way McCain does.  I guess it’s good that Palin doesn’t have a dick since she wouldn’t be “smoking hot” and so her comments wouldn’t be worth consideration then.

Because, I mean, this is what it boils down to, and, frankly, I’m hoping it doesn’t get literal because the thought of seeing McCain’s junk is enough to make me think about moving to another country.

Pam I love you but this guy is nothing but a concern troll with a mike.

He better not keep it up, or this might happen:

American expelled: The author of a book criticizing Barack Obama was kicked out of Kenya this week for not having a valid work permit. Jerome Corsi, an American neoconservative writer, was in Kenya to launch his book, Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality, which alleges that the Democratic presidential candidate is a Muslim and has murky links to Kenyan politics. Such charges go over poorly in Kenya, where Obama’s father was born and where Obama is a national hero. Once government authorities learned of Corsi’s presence in the country through the newspapers, they found a pretext to deport him—saying that presiding over a book launch constituted “employment,” which requires a permit.

SRR, you’re a real rocket scientist, aren’t you…

Are you trying to claim Obama got that waste of oxygen arrested?

I can’t wait to see how you bring Bill Clinton’s dick into the conspiracy…

So, yes, Corsi is apparently kind of a moron.

What is this supposed to mean to us, in your mind?

Sugar Ray, better not drink the water, ‘cause the fluoride will impurify your precious bodily fluids…

You know, yesterday on the thread that all the trolls hit hard, I was wondering where Sugar Ray went.

There he be.  ::sighs::

So, apparently Sugar Ray is under the impression that people write books and publishers publish them out of the goodness of their hearts, and they distribute them for free to all and sundry without ever expecting to see a dime in return, so therefore someone who’s on a book tour isn’t selling a product, they’re on a lovely vacation.

Oh, my aching sides.  Ray has got to be the funniest troll we’ve ever had.

Comment #21: Mnemosyne  on  10/08  at  12:34 PM

What’s really funny to me about the Corsi story is that apparently no one looked into visa requirements before he traveled there.  Before my two bosses traveled to Germany, I doublechecked the visa requirements even though Germany is a visa waiver country with the US (US and German citizens can travel to each other’s countries for up to 90 days without a specific visa).

It turns out that they were fine, because they were just going to a museum opening with some of our artwork on display.  However, if they’d gone there in order to sign a contract—even a contract where they were not immediately paying money or immediately receiving something in return—they would have needed a business visa to do so.  So I’m wondering which idiot at Regnery didn’t double-check to see if a special visa would be required in order to do business (ie sell and promote your book) in Kenya.

“So I’m wondering which idiot at Regnery didn’t double-check to see if a special visa would be required in order to do business (ie sell and promote your book) in Kenya.”

...or which idiot knew about the requirement but sent Asshole Corsi over anyway — all publicity is good publicity…

This wuss-bag needs to stand up for himself and answer the questions about his relationship with Bill Ayers and other terrorists and terrorist sympathizers.

He did ... something like 6 months ago.  It’s not his fault Palin’s too freakin’ daft to realize that.  The best approach Obama can take is to just let her keep yappin’.  The more incendiary, the better.

Comment #24: Joshua  on  10/08  at  01:48 PM

Did I miss something here?  Did Obama have something to do with Corsi’s failure to be allowed into Kenya?  Does he have some kind of ties to Kenyan customs that have remained hidden from the rest of us?  Does he control who does and does not enter Kenya?  What does that have to do with this post anyway?

Wasn’t there a thread on Corsi and Kenya earlier?

Comment #26: FlipYrWhig  on  10/08  at  04:45 PM

This Baker guy has actually been on my radar for a few weeks now after saying that women aren’t worthy of holding political office (while insulting Nancy Pelosi’s appearance), women shouldn’t vote (we’re too emotional), he noticed Palin’s panty line during the debate, and now yesterday that Obama’s mother is “trash.”

On the one hand, he’s just another angry idiot with a talk show, but get this…

...he’s going to be a guest at a Susan G. Komen “Laugh for the Cure” benefit.  I wrote the organizers to let them know how hateful and anti-woman this guy is.  They wrote back and informed me that their event was non-political and that since breast cancer doesn’t discriminate, neither do they.

I’m not objecting to this guy’s politics, I’m objecting to his outright hate for women (or men who he deems woman-like = Obama the “little bitch”).

Comment #27: Noticed  on  10/09  at  12:13 AM

Re: the lack of a Kenyan visa.

How would a Republican react to finding out someone from Kenya was traveling around America promoting a book without a work visa? I’m thinking deportation would be their mildest reaction, with a sizable percentage favoring sending him to Gitmo.
