The GOPers are soooo stupid. I guess they’ve completely given up on appealing to ANY African Americans. Might make women and other minorities wonder what they might have come up with if Clinton or Richardson was the nominee.
Obama’s already got my vote, but if he promised to rename the Constitution the Negronomicon, I think I’d be willing to bear his children.
The fear is definitely kicking their racism into a higher gear. I just heard someone (one of those radio doofuses, either Levin—whose voice screams “Perfect for a blog”—or maybe the Hannity guy) say that this will be the most politically correct era ever, which I think is laughable since racists and sexists and all the other equality non-believers just don’t understand the concept* and refuse to understand why their prejudices aren’t socially acceptable.
But as to their central fear: yes, the White House will be painted black. It will look like a stealth bomber with blingy gold doorknobs. Also, “Hail to the Chief” will now feature guest rappers Lil Jon and 50 Cent, Marine One will fly 30 feet over Georgetown and Silver Springs blasting Bob Marley and terrorizing the families of Washington pundits and keeping Senator McCain up past his bedtime, and Barack will change his name to Da Unstoppable Prezzidint or just DUP. And any white man or woman who shakes hands the old-fashioned way will be sentenced to wearing their pants below their ass for six months. And that’s just the first C-note days!

I did a brief post on that button when I found out about it. Later that day, I saw a traffic spike coming in from HuffPost. Someone posted in the comments there that my site was the one selling the button (I have absolutely no idea how they could’ve thought that and still be able to read). I had to post an update to clarify that we weren’t the ones behind this idiocy.
