The Unifying Theory Of Soros

imageIs there any nefarious scheme that George Soros isn’t involved in?  Besides, of course, the plank of Obama’s platform to bring Scribble Jam to the White House lawn.  That’s pure Blackazoid, right there.

George Soros is funding Obama so that Obama will give money to George Soros initiatives validated by George Soros experts as evidenced by other George Soros groups which independently took over Western Illinois (or, as it’s now known, Sorostia) and pay themselves in what will be known as Soros Bucks, backed by the full faith and credit of the giant vat of electrolytes which houses the semi-cybernetic brain of George Soros.

Were I backed by the neo-Soros think tank in charge of defending George Soros from virulent anti-Soros attacks, I’d lapse into a several-paragraph discussion of why Michelle Malkin hates Jews, because I assume that’s what shadily funded think tanks do when prominent supporters are under attack. Since I’m not backed by that sweet Soros skrilla, I’m going to simply sit on my hands and think about what could have been.

I too wish I received money from Emanuel Goldstein… I mean, from George Soros.

Hey, you just cribbed that master plan from Cheney!

I mean, seriously, my friends, if W can get away with it…

The Reichwing projects what Richard Mellon Scaife actually is onto Soros.  And yet no one in the MSM seems to notice.

Scaife made it is his personal quest to tear down Bill Clinton, and spent a lot of money to do so.  But hardly a peep.

Among many other Reichwing efforts, Scaife backed the “Arkansas Project”, to the tune of $1.8 billion.  $1.8 Billion.  To nail Bill Clinton.  For a blow job.

While it is true that Soros has opposed George Bush Jr., he only gave a few million to the Center for American Progress, MoveOn, and America Coming Together, and supported some “527” groups.

Soros just seems to want a more socially and politically just world, and supports progressive causes as a result.  And for those sins he is (one of) the wingnut’s boogey men — or Emanuel Goldstein(s), as atheist said above.

OTOH, Scaife seems to want to tear down America and everything it stands for.  And nobody seems to notice…

I’d lapse into a several-paragraph discussion of why Michelle Malkin hates Jews

C’mon, Malkin doesn’t hate Jews—she’s just pandering to anti-semites. If the GOP wants to keep the Know-Nothing vote, someone has to confirm the deepest suspicions of those who fear the Elders of Zion. Someone has to expose social programmes that assist schools, lift families out of poverty, and fill health care gaps as secret plots by the hook-nosed puppetmasters to enslave hard-working white Americans, all the while ensuring that the money they love above all things will flow into their Jew coffers.

It’s going to be a close election, and the GOP can’t just eschew the bigoted moron vote. So if a “placeness”-less (h/t Peggy Noonan) plutocrat like Soros presents himself, they’re gonna use him as a boogeyman. Malkin is just following in the footsteps of other conservatives who inform Idiot America about this “threat”—the NRA being one of my favourite examples:

Where are the Knights Templar?  A conspiracy theory just isn’t a conspiracy theory without the Templars in there.

You don’t get the same quality of nutter you did when *I* was a uni student…

Of all the wingnut tropes out there, the idea that billionaires like Scaife can do whatever they want with their money, including take down Democrats and elect Republicans, but Soros is TEH EVUL for giving money to take down Republicans and elect Democrats, is - well, the fact that they can go out there and say this with a straight face and no one asks them about it shows you where our Lirul Media is at.

Actually, they didn’t even have the blow job in their sights at the start of it. Their goal was “let’s find something we can nail Bill Clinton on”. Imagine if someone spent over a billion dollars to dig up every detail about your past just to find something, anything, to make you look bad.

Soros just seems to want a more socially and politically just world, and supports progressive causes as a result.  And for those sins he is (one of) the wingnut’s boogey men — or Emanuel Goldstein(s), as atheist said above.

Exactly. Soros commits the unpardonable offense of giving a shit about people other than his own cronies. It’s perfectly OK to lie, cheat, steal, torture, and manipulate people to protect your own wealth and self interests. It’s a horrible, frightening thing to donate money to people who haven’t earned it or even worse, people who want to (gasp!) raise your taxes .

When puzzling out the Republican mindset, just think “oligarchy” and it usually all falls into place.

It’s all a corollary to the IOKIYAR rule.
