She’s absolutely gorgeous. I’m glad she found a good home and the two of you and Chloe found someone to help you grieve and make you feel better.
Congrats! It is good to find a four legged friend filled with optimism for the future, and Casey looks like she fits the bill.
YAY FOR CASEY! And for you! Three years ago when we lost our Newfy girl, we were sure that we wouldn’t get another dog for awhile. Then a week or two later a friend called about a dog at a pound so we went to check it out. That wasn’t the dog for us (someone else adopted her though!) but we stumbled across a HUUUUGE, sad, sick long-haired English Mastiff and couldn’t stop thinking about him. He came home with us within days, and now we have two of them—both rescues. It makes me happy to see this. : D
