I’m seriously bummed - 2018 already seemed so far off, and now 4 more years! (Assuming we get it, which we damn well should.)

But…I suppose it makes sense in the long run…and it gives me more time to save money smile

Seriously!  In 1994, tickets to the final were $475, I hate to think what they’ll be in 2022 (assuming we get the bid.)  And no games in the SF Bay Area. :-(

Hopefully by 2022 I’ll have enough money where I can afford tickets to a game or two. And my daughter will be old enough to go with me and not cling to me afraid of the scary singing and screaming people the whole time*, though she’ll also be old enough to not want to be seen with Daddy because that’s so embarrassing…

*I was yelling some choice words at the opposing keeper yesterday, and she told me “stop yelling, Daddy!” Not sure how to explain the custom of talking shit to the opposing keeper to a two-year-old.
